Week 3....


I feel encouraged as I go along trying to draft an action research plan.  The readings this week from the Dana and supplemental texts, have done a great job of outlining the components of a quality action research plan.  


My site supervisor stated early on, that I should pick a topic that motivates me into action.  I am a firm believer in the power of all things IB and believe that the opportunity to use action resource to nurture another component of IB on our campus is a truly a gift.  The time and energy devoted to this plan, has brought about a personal excitement and lit a fire inside to make certain our students have the benefit of service learning in their future.  By looking at attendance and referral data, I hope there is a connection that can be seen by this time next year, on the impact service action learning has one both of these factors.
